Packers cut former Bears TE Martellus Bennett
Earlier on Wednesday, Green Bay ruled out Bennett for Week 10's matchup against the Chicago Bears due to a shoulder injury. If he does not get claimed, he becomes a free agent and can sign with any team at any time after that.

The parade was followed by a brief ceremony in front of Mooresville town hall, lunch and a concert on the town hall lawn.

"This is one small event that allows our community to come together and show a huge "thank you" to our military heroes for protecting the basic freedoms which are so often taken for granted", said Savannah City Manager Garry Welch.

After the parade ended, Lauren and her class sang "God Bless the U.S.A." for the Local 6 crew.

Marshfield's parade will begin at 10:30 a.m.at Library Plaza and pass Town Hall before ending at Veterans Memorial Park for an 11 a.m. ceremony. The parade ends at Mill Creek Park Veterans Memorial off Broadway. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and will be led by retired Navy Rear Adm. William Copeland Jr.
