USA first lady Melania Trump walks along the Mutianyu Great Wall section in Beijing.

This time, Melania visited the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with guides from China's state tourism department on the last day of a trip to Asia in which she accompanied her husband to Japan, South Korea and China.

"This is handsome. This is incredible", she said, according to a pool report.

Trump was greeted by children singing and waving American and Chinese flags.

She passed out stuffed toy eagles from the U.S.to the children and posed for pictures with them. "We did exchange what they're working on and what I will work on and what my passion is", Trump said. As with previous first ladies, Melania has used her platform to champion public causes such as the prevention of childhood bullying and combating the opioid epidemic in the United States.

At the same time, Trump has heaped praise on Xi. "Take Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, for example". Trump may find himself on the back foot, says Matthew Pennington of the Associated Press .

Trump's fellow first lady, Peng Liyuan, wife of China's President Xi Jinping, opted for something similar with her black sheer topper embroidered with poppies overlaying a deep red satin dress.

"We love to live in Washington, we have a very busy life".

The former model has repeatedly gone viral in recent months.

With that, Trump climbed aboard a rattling cable auto for the steep ride up to the top of a mountain, where she posed for pictures in front of the assembled press, accepted a ceremonial scroll, and then turned and walked, alone, along the Great Wall of China.
