Blizzard has unveiled new content on the way to its popular hero-based first-person shooter (FPS) Overwatch, as a part of its annual BlizzCon conference. The new hero, called Moira, is the 26th playable character to be added to the game. Following a sort of shadowy archetype, including the ability to cast healing beams, teleports, and other bionic skills, Moira is a bit of a hybrid support character.

Biotic Orb - Moira launches a rebounding biotic sphere; she can choose between a regeneration effect that heals the allies it passes through, or a decay effect that deals damage to enemies. Blizzard has provided a deeper breakdown of Moira's abilities and backstory on the official Overwatch site, however, is yet to announce a release date.

Reinhardt, otherwise known as the best tank, also received his own animated short.

Otherwise I've got many entities and many interests that can carry on also. He added: "I have history with Nate as it's 1-1". I've pushed so many boundaries.

Using her left hand, Moira expends biotic energy to heal allies in front of her. "Once she's charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies".

No word yet on when Moira will hit PTR, but expect her to be a bit controversial (just like nearly all new Overwatch characters).

Fade is a fairly simple ability that sees Moira teleport a short distance. Yep, Blizzard's finally making a theme park built around its many beloved series, but you'll probably be too busy pushing the payload to wait in line for an overpriced beverage at the Hearthstone Tavern. We think she could be a pretty great addition to any team composition in Overwatch! Overwatch is full of Easter eggs and it seems likely that the Blizzard World map will be full of fun references like this.
