The force's chief of detectives, Robert Boyce, said the NYPD was working with New York's attorney general to gather enough evidence before obtaining an arrest warrant for the disgraced Hollywood producer.

"He pushed me onto the bed and his trousers were down and he lifted up my skirt".

The actress's claims are very similar to ones shared by many among the more than 60 women who have come forward accusing Weinstein of assault, harassment, or rape.

I felt afraid.... It wasn't consensual ...

By the end of 2010, de la Huerta said she started drinking heavily and fell into depression.

Manhattan district attorney's spokeswoman Joan Vollero says a senior sex crimes prosecutor has been assigned to the investigation, which is being conducted along with NY police.

Almost two months later, de la Huerta said Weinstein showed up in the lobby of her apartment one night.

Motive Unknown in Walmart Shooting That Killed 3 People
Police say the three victims who died, were the only people who were shot during the incident. Police also released a second photograph of a red hatchback they believed Ostrem fled in.

The Boardwalk Empire made the revelations in an interview with Vanity Fair.

"The first time I was in complete shock and it happened so quickly".

More than a month later, she claims she confronted Weinstein at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles, because he kept calling her. "I did say no, and when he was on top of me I said, 'I don't want to do this, '" the actress said. Weinstein had apparently repeatedly called her since the first alleged assault, and drunkenly showed up at her building lobby, insisting that they go to her apartment, de la Huerta described. "The second time, I was terrified of him", she said.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance has assigned a senior sex crimes prosecutor to the case, spokeswoman Joan Vollero said.

Weinstein's representative, Sallie Hofmeister, says the 65-year-old Oscar victor denies any allegations of non-consensual sex.

The movie mogul has "unequivocally denied" allegations of non-consensual sex.

Officers said they had received "multiple complaints" about Weinstein, adding to investigations in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in the US.
