PUBG Gets Physical | Release Date To Be Confirmed For Xbox One Console

PUBG Battlegrounds

The news comes as PUBG developer Bluehole makes another big change in preparation for the Xbox One release date and full PC launch.

The same message from the Twitter account warned that the game will be unavailable for one hour, so that the team can implement the latest patch.

We have received a lot of feedback asking for improvement of the blue zone. This update will increase the damage that is done by the blue zone to try to keep fights inside the safe zone. During this interview, we found out some more about the game, and news that there will indeed be no "Battlegrounds 2". Digital is still an important part of the console market, but many players still buy boxed games at stores like GameStop or more discount department stores like Target and Walmart.

However, despite the hullabaloo, the November 2016 order hasn't been struck down, or recalled. Till the decision is made, playing the National Anthem in the halls would remain mandatory.

Unfortunately, there's still no word on when that console launch is coming. Currently, PUBG Blue Zone damage already does a fair bit of health tick once you're in those phases. However, Greene expressed that the team is focused more deeply on expanding the title through a "games as a service" model by expanding on new maps and other content for the game during its Early Access development.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds announced on Twitter today that its Xbox One revision will have a physical release. "We still want to polish and refine, and add more maps, add more assets, I could totally kind of refine the gameplay and optimize as we go forward".

Greene clarified that the game will indeed be available on Xbox One on a disc, if players want to pick it up at a physical retailer.
