Slow iPhone? Apple's iOS updates aren't to blame

Apple's iOS 11.1 beta is extremely tempting, but most iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users should wait for the final version to arrive later this year.

Despite these results, the report acknowledges that several factors that may affect an iPhone owner's perception of their device's performance after updating an older phone to a newer version of iOS. So, majority are eagerly waiting for next version of Apple's iOS 11.0.3. We should be seeing both the public beta and the developer beta for iOS 11.1 being released sometime this week. So Apple has pushed out iTunes 12.6.3 which brings back the functionality allowing users to install apps and ringtones for their iOS devices from the desktop.

Much as increased iPhone sales and a corresponding boost to AAPL stock could serve as an incentive, Apple is sticking with trying to wow customers with new iPhone designs and new features to keep the upgrade cycle going.

The iOS 11.1 release date isn't confirmed, but you can try Apple's first milestone iOS 11 update long before its officially released thanks to the iOS 11.1 beta. So, what could be the major issue for the bugs with the new iOS update?

Some people on various bastions of internet opinion like Reddit welcomed the return of iTunes with App Store access, but other notes that is a backwards step for iTunes and leaves it in a bloated and overly feature-heavy state.

The iOS 11.1 beta was released last week, while iOS 11.1 Beta 2 already came out yesterday. iOS 11.1 Beta 2 features various bells and whistles and general improvements to the already-existing features. It might be worth actually downloading the beta releases for iOS 11.1 just for the new emojis alone. However, CPU performance did drop slightly over time, which the release said could be due to minor iOS updates, but likely wouldn't be enough of a change for average users to notice a performance dip.

The new operating system has not yet notified its users of any security updates.
