Dwayne Harris was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers and was later termed out for the game with a fractured foot.

Not only was it the first rushing touchdown of the season from a Giants running back, it was the team's first offensive points in the first quarter this year. Instead of risking a Giants touchdown, Rivers just underhand tossed the ball out of the back of the end zone. Manning hit Roger Lewis Jr. down the left sideline for a 29-yard touchdown to go up six with 6:46 left in the third. The Giants drafted Rivers fourth overall in 2004 with the plan to trade him to the Chargers, who took Manning No. 1. He has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.

The Chargers made it 22-20 on a 31-yard field goal by Novak before taking the lead for good on the Rivers to Gordon 10-yard strike. It led to a safety three plays later when Rivers wasn't expecting a snap and the quarterback swept the ball out of the back of the end zone.

The Giants lot four receivers to injuries, the most serious of which was to Beckham, who appeared to get his left ankle twisted underneath him after making a catch late in the fourth quarter.
