The Google Home app confirms the Google Home Mini before tomorrow's launch

Google Home was the company's first stab at an Amazon Echo competitor-a smart home speaker imbued with a digital assistant. The new feature will work with devices like the Google Home, Google Home Mini and Google Home Max. Sitting either side of the original Home, are the Home Mini and the premium Google Home Max.

The Google Home Max comes with the Google Assistant support which can identify you even when music is playing at a full volume! The device makes use of Google's hardware, software as well as AI and Machine learning technologies to deliver an incredible music experience. Pre-orders start today with customer deliveries beginning on October 19.

Now, the days are gone, when you have to take care of your device even when you are at home. It will be coming in two colour variants - Chalk and Charcoal, priced at $399. While that may seem like a lot, there's no denying that the Google Home sounds like a toy compared to the newly announced product and it's not like the original model wasn't touted as one of the best speakers in its price range previous year, so Google most certainly outdid itself this time around. The new Home Max however is a pleasant surprise since it appears to be the company's bid to compete against Sonos. If you love Google Assistant and its ecosystem, this is now the easiest, cheapest way to integrate it into you life. The standard Google Home speaker costs nearly US$130.

Gareth Bale out of Ireland game
Gareth Bale has been ruled out of Wales' World Cup Qualifiers against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland through injury.

Google is providing users a free 12 months subscription to YouTube Red.

The command "Hey Google, goodnight!" can turn off all the lights, turn down the temperature and remind the user of their first meeting next day. It costs $249 in the USA and will be made available soon.

This feature, while it's actually something really basic, can have many different utilities: you can use a broadcast for telling your friends something in another room, you can use one for waking up your children in the morning, and a lot more! But the Max speaker will work with a wider range of music-streaming services than the HomePod, which is created to be a companion to Apple Music. You can also stream from a device to the speaker via Bluetooth, or plug in any device with an auxiliary input.
