Philippines ready work with UN on Human Rights issues

The announcement sets up the likelihood that Mr Trump will meet firebrand Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte.

"Throughout the three cycles of the Universal Periodic Review, and most especially during the Duterte regime's participation in the process, the Philippines has exhibited a total mockery of global human rights mechanisms, with the government's blatant distortion of facts on extrajudicial killings and human rights violations in the country, its record of using the United Nations as a platform to justify its crimes against the Filipino people, and its doubletalk on compliance to human rights instruments".

Abella said the Duterte administration would make sure that foreign guests would enjoy "world-famous Filipino hospitality" during their stay in the Philippines for their attendance to the 31st Asean summits.

Melania Trump will also accompany him.

Trump will travel between November 3 to 14.

"Our people are excited to see the first face-to-face meeting between our two leaders", Cayetano said. Trump will travel Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.

This will be his first trip to Asia as a President.

Broncos to stand together for national anthem on Sunday
The Broncos defense is one of the best in the conference, so there will be no room for error against them on Sunday. Adding insult was the moment in last season's finale when Talib ripped a chain right off Crabtree's neck.

"President Trump's visit underscores the improving relations between the Philippines and the United States, which no less than Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told me is on an upward vector", he added, saying Tillerson also described relations between the Philippines and the USA to be strong and irreversible in his interview by National Public Radio in Washington last Thursday.

In conveying Manila's willingness to receive experts who would assess the human rights situation in the country, Cayetano requested the Secretary General to send only those with no bias against the Philippines.

"President Trump will discuss the importance of a free and open Indo-Pacific region to America's prosperity and security".

Malacañang confirmed Saturday that Trump (normally referred to as POTUS, which stands for President of the U.S.) will be visiting the Philippines for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) East Asian Summit (EAS) in Manila in November.

The president, who has been locked in an increasingly bitter war of words with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, will have the opportunity to bolster allied resolve for what he calls the "complete denuclearization" of Pyongyang.

Trump is engaged in a tit for tat with North Korean leader Kim Jung Un following testing of several intercontinental ballistic missiles that could potentially reach the US. It is expected that the trip will be dominated by the North Korea nuclear threat. He has warned North Korea would face total devastation if it threatens the United States.
