Speaking at the session of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, President Donald Trump called the agreement on Iran's nuclear program "one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into." he said that Iran exports "violence, bloodshed and chaos".

At a news conference Friday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov once again hit back on claims his country meddled in the 2016 USA election, saying his American counterpart failed to offer any proof of interference.

Lavrov, who met privately with Tillerson on two occasions this week, also bemoaned the state of US-Russian relations in his news conference, blaming "Russo-phobic hysteria" in the United States for the strain.

The same, he hinted, could not be said of the United States.

Wang said the BRICS countries should carry forward with such an approach and fabricate a network of partners that is open, stable and plural.

Catalan govt admits referendum blow but vows to press on
A spokesman for Junqueras confirmed the arrest and said that other Catalan government premises were being searched by the agents. The next day, the Constitutional Court accepted the lawsuit for review, thus suspending the Catalan law on referendum .

He urged the five countries to push all sides to follow the basic principles of the UN Charter, such as equal sovereignty, non-interference in domestic affairs and peaceful settlement of disputes, and to constantly enhance the UN Security Council's primary obligations in maintaining worldwide peace and security.

"Using unilateral sanctions.is illegitimate and undermines the collective nature of global efforts".

The remarks come as US President Donald Trump has threatened to declare Iran to be in violation of "the spirit" of the nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), over Tehran's defensive missile program. "Extremism and terrorism is something that we need to combat together, without using double standards and hidden agendas", Lavrov said as he once again drew attention to what he called an "ambiguous" situation in Syria, where the US-led coalition seems to be sparing Al Nusra terrorists in its airstrikes while fighting another terrorist group, Islamic State.

"I think the White House responded already, and I have nothing to add to that", Lavrov said. "The dialogue has been going on, it's not easy", Lavrov said. The diplomat also said that Russian Federation drafted a universal convention on prevention of cybercrimes, including hacking attacks, and urged the General Assembly to discuss it during this year's session.
