Odell Beckham Jr back on field with Giants

Three-time Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr.is itching to play in the New York Giants' season opener against Dallas and just as uncertain whether his injured left ankle will allow him to face the rival Cowboys.

It's not much, but it's certainly a plus for the fourth-year wide receiver, who had his preseason sidetracked on August 21.

You may not have heard about him before, but thanks to Odell Beckham Jr. and Joe Haden, Cleveland Browns corner back Briean Boddy-Calhoun is a name on everyone's lips.

If he is able to play, numberFire's models project Beckham to haul in 6.6 catches for 88.4 yards and 0.72 touchdowns in Week 1.

There are also some new additions to the skill corps, including free-agent pickup Brandon Marshall as well as tight end Evan Engram, the rookie out of Ole Miss who was selected in the first round. It is worth noting that Beckham is still limited and not practicing.

McAdoo has said Beckham will play if he is medically cleared.

"I've been throwing with Eli since I was a sophomore in high school", Beckham said. "He is a tremendous ball carrier and we want to play against the best. He is one of the best in the game, that's what we are going to do". The chemistry and everything, we were just rolling. Nothing is really going to change.

Beckham teamed up with haircare brand Head & Shoulders to take some pressure off of his fans' shoulders - and in doing so, he gave them some of the most exciting experiences of their lives.

Beckham pointed to his own experience as a Hurricane Katrina survivor, saying, "I remember how I saw a great state and every other state come together and help take care of my friends, family and loved ones". It's just a matter of how fast you can get back.

"He got some treatment", McAdoo said.
