A Pakistani man working for a prominent U.S. lawmaker has been arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on charges of bank loan fraud while trying to leave the United States.

The five.employees worked for at least three members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis.

An aide of former Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been arrested trying to leave the country. "Upon learning of his arrest, he was terminated".

Awan's attorney confirmed that the former staffer was arrested at Dulles Airport on Monday. The Daily Caller has also honed in on an exchange Wasserman Schultz had with the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police in which she repeatedly asked him to return a laptop that belonged to her.

I'd also like to know more about the security implications of the theft of the IT equipment and the "serious, potentially illegal, violations of House IT policies".

Wasserman Schultz, though, has now fired Awan. "I think you're violating the rules when you conduct your business that way and should expect that there would be consequences".

Motorola is also offering a free Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod to anyone that buys a Moto Z2 Force Edition by September 9th. Verizon operates America's most reliable wireless network, with 113.9 million retail connections nationwide.

Yes, clearly the investigation by the FBI, Capitol Police and the numerous piles of evidence all come down to Islamophobia.

Eight House Democrats, including Wasserman Schultz, each paid Awan more than $1,000 for IT work in 2017. "His official termination date was February 2, 2017".

Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, were accused of lying about a housing equity loan to pilfer $165,000 from the Congressional Federal Credit Union, according to documents filed in the District of Columbia. Up until now, allegations of wrong doing have varied from simply overcharging taxpayers for congressional IT equipment to blackmailing members of Congress with secrets captured from the emails of their Democrat employers. Awan was well-paid during his time in Congress. But he must wear a Global Positioning System monitor, abide by a curfew and stay within a 50-mile radius of his home in Virginia.

The news outlet also found that Awan and his brother secretly took $100,000 of Iraqi money, owed money to an Iraqi politician who's been linked to Hezbollah, and possibly kept their stepmother "in "capivity" for better access to offshore money.

Alvi, Awan's wife, was reportedly allowed to fly to Pakistan in March and has not yet returned, though she has a flight set for September, according to the AP.

Awan's wife, Hina Alvi, briefly worked for Wasserman Schultz this year and recently left for Pakistan, although Federal Bureau of Investigation agents also approached her as she awaited her flight at Dulles. The FBI declined to offer further details about that day outside of what was in the complaint.
