Details are sparse on the sequel since we're still three years away from it hitting theaters, but we do know that it will help set up the next 10 years of movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Cast members (L-R) Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Kurt Russell, Karen Gillan, director James Gunn and Michael Rooker pose as they attend a premiere of the film "Guardians of the galaxy, Vol. 2" in London, Britain, April 24, 2017.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 debuted earlier in other territories, but it still brought in another $123.8 million to bring the overall worldwide total $427.6 million when including the United States total. As Business Insider observed, "It's rare that a movie's Saturday has that kind of performance after a strong Friday, so word of mouth has certainly been strong". On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 scored an 81% approval rating from critics, just a little ways down from the original's 91% approval rating. The film takes its place in history at #17 in the all-time list of USA release weekends, narrowly trailing Furious 7, which went on to gross $1.5 billion worldwide.

The Walt Disney Co. validated the rise of "Guardians", too, by moving it from August (when the original opened) to the first weekend in May. The film has now earned a whopping 427.6 million USA dollars at the global box office through Sunday, according to studio figures collected by comScore.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", $145 million ($124 million international).

The 55-year-old Kraft has regularly batted away pleas over the years from her party to take over as national leader from Merkel. Voter turnout was markedly higher than five years prior, officials said, with 65.2 percent turning out to cast their ballots.

Hopefully, you've already caught Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on the big screen.

"Furious" sold $8.5 million in tickets in the fourth week of a lucrative run, which saw it surpass the one-billion-dollar mark worldwide. It's wedged between "Spider-Man 3" ($151.1 million) and "Iron Man 2" ($128.1 million).

Despite being in its sixth weekend of release, audiences are still crying out for more of The Boss Baby.

Across 4,347 locations, the sequel to 2014's surprise hit exceed the opening prediction of $140 million.

"Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", $43.9 million.
