Deputies are investigating after a 68-year-old resident of a South Florida apartment complex was tossed into a pool as she tried to break up an outdoor party.

The teenager turned himself in to police. He has been charged with battery of a person 65 years of age or older, officials said. Footage showed the 16-year-old, handcuffed, being escorted into the Broward Regional Juvenile Facility. He is set to make his first court appearance sometime Tuesday.

The incident happened Saturday at the Players Place Townhomes in North Lauderdale, Fla.

"Several unit owners called us, the sheriff's office was called".

But instead of turning the volume down, or even just fobbing the woman off, the teens began taunting her and filming in her face. "I didn't care. Just lower the music". "It's not my job to police the place". Some recorded her with their cameras amid shouts to "Throw her in!" Some said they didn't actually see James get thrown in, but they did see the aftermath. It's not known whether the man attempted to body slam James, of if he slipped on the wet pavement. Either way, it didn't stop him from continuing the attack.

A red-shirted teenager then picks up the woman, but both of them fall to the ground.

Curry's 30 lead Warriors to sweep after 121-95 win over Jazz
But Golden State also forced the Jazz to shoot 32.4 percent in the second half, and Utah was just 5 for 17 in the fourth quarter. Utah Jazz has been close to the winning score in the previous three Matches against Warriors but failed at the end.

The website reports that she is now in stable condition and that police are investigating the incident.

Her friend Shay McNair said: "She doesn't walk that good, you can see that". 'It just shouldn't happen. "The kid has not evolved yet into what you're supposed to be as a human being". She also had bruises on her leg and shoulder which the police believe "were most likely caused by the incident".

Paramedics examined James at the scene.

It all started when Nancy James asked people at a large party in her townhome complex to turn down their music.

"They're still scared, poor things", James said.

"Nice kids that live here".
