OnePlus 5 seems to be confirmed following the teaser posted by CEO

A new leak from China reveals more details about the OnePlus 5's design and specs, but you might not like everything this leak reveals.

In the past, several reports have suggested that the company will skip the number 4, as it is believed to be unlucky.

According to a post on Chinese social media site Weibo, OnePlus 5 will be launched with 6GB of RAM against the earlier rumours of 8GB. Vivo also named the V3 successor as V5 instead of V4. However, what is certain at this stage is that OnePlus is in the process of producing a smartphone that will make all the fans see "big surprise". The picture in question shows employees working on the gears of a phone and a smiling customer. However, previous reports had claimed that the cameras will be vertically placed.

Rupert Murdoch says Bill Shine has left Fox News
NY magazine's Gabriel Sherman reported that the Murdoch family, which owns 21st Century Fox , "might not be done cleaning house". Suzanne Scott has been named president of programming, and Jay Wallace is now president of news, Murdoch said in the statement.

Since OnePlus positions its smartphones as the premium flagship phones, the OnePlus 5 is likely to come powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. Therefore, it shouldn't have to be a surprise to see that the company or even the CEO is posting a teaser regarding the upcoming flagship on its Weibo account. Having a dual rear camera will help the OnePlus 4 / 5 to really compete with the very best flagships that 2017 has offered us so far.

When it comes to battery size, the OnePlus 5 should feature a 3,600 mAh battery, complete with fast charging. This is the same as the OnePlus 3 and 3T devices launched a year ago but is quite enough when the phone's RAM management is adequate. Going by the teaser, it seems that the handset is now in an early production phase. This year the OnePlus 5 is expected in May.

Expect to hear more on the OnePlus 5 in the coming weeks with a release date rumoured for later in the summer. Thus, readers are advised to take the information with caution.
