NBA Playoffs open thread: Bucks vs. Raptors and Hawks vs. Wizards

On top of his recent stretch of poor play, Morris continues to try and get in the head of Hawks' Paul Millsap and to simply put it, it's not working out for Morris. After appearing to be dead in the water over the first two games, the Hawks seem to have their confidence back. On Monday night, Calderon was thrown into a hard situation when starting point guard Dennis Schroder picked up his third personal foul late in the first half and had to leave the game.

PAUL Millsap again showed the way, with six other Hawks scoring in double figures in a 111-101 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday in Atlanta (Tuesday, Manila time).

With three minutes left in the game, Washington had cut Atlanta's lead to five points, but Schroder answered by scoring the Hawks' next eight points. Tim said they tried to feed the beats last night in Dwight Howard as he was locked into the game.

"We need to send a little thank-you note to the Warriors", Budenholzer said when asked about Calderon's performance. He has failed to live up to expectations since signing a big contract in the offseason, but tonight he showed the energy that Hawks fans came to love past year.

"He came in, played well, took care of the game", Washington coach Scott Brooks said. Calderon wasn't supposed to be with the Hawks. His offensive outburst, in addition to his 15 rebounds, was crucial to the Hawks win. As Washington struggles to defend and rebound, it becomes clear the Wizards are missing backup center Ian Mahinmi, who has missed the first four games of the series due to a calf strain. They held the Blazers to under 39 percent for the game and Portland rarely saw an open look until the game was well in hand for Golden State. For the series, however, Porter is averaging just 8.5 points per game and has been relegated to standing and watching too often as Wall and Beal go to work. He got a lot of his points off John Wall getting to the basket and making plays.

John Wall suffered through an off game, as he shot 7-of-19 and turned the ball over six times.

The Antiquities Act does not give the president explicit power to undo a designation and no president has ever taken such a step. Lands such as the Grand Staircase, Organ Mountains, and Bears Ears are among the most spectacular and are cherished by millions.

Bradley Beal kept Washington close with 32 points, but Marcin Gortat was missing in action of offense. In the regular season, the Wizards got about 18 percent of their points from midrange shots. He finished with a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. The way this series has played out so far is that Washington is winning in the backcourt while Atlanta is annihilating the Wizards in the frontcourt.

After shooting 1 for 6 in the first, Antetokounmpo was a ideal 6 for 6 in the second, scoring 13 points to help the Bucks close the gap. They started out really well and had a heck of a first quarter.

Norman Powell-who Casey inserted into the starting lineup in place of Jonas Valanciunas-led the way with 25 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Atlanta later got back-to-back alley-oop dunks by Howard, who had a double-double by halftime. Their collective defensive effort in the second and fourth quarters was outstanding.

In the third quarter, Morris missed two shots, committed a turnover, and then a petty foul on Millsap which landed him right back on the bench with four fouls.

Matt Barnes (right ankle/foot sprain), and Shaun Livingston (right index finger sprain) were ruled out for Monday's game. It's now tied 2-2 going back to D.C. for Game 5. Atlanta briefly built a five-point lead but could not take control. Outside of being under his averages 13.5 points and 12.7 rebounds, Dwight's sub-par playoff showing is uncharacteristic, period.

Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schroder (17) has the ball knocked away by Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter Jr.
