According to Microsoft this app was built by the same folks who work on Wunderlist and while the new app will eventually pick up numerous popular features from Wunderlist, at some point down the road Wunderlist will be retired.

The To-Do app allows users to create lists for work, home projects or just about anything. Your lists will be synced across all your devices, too, although this requires that you have a Microsoft account. You can customise this list further by accessing the "Intelligent Suggestions" feature - available with a tap on the light bulb icon - which will offer suggestions of things you may want to add to your list.

We first came across the news that Microsoft was beta-testing a new to-do app for Windows in November.

In the future, Microsoft says, this integration "will enable the product to be even more useful in more places". Microsoft is planning to integrate the To-Do app with all Office 365 services, starting with Outlook Tasks. Microsoft also has made security a top priority in To-Do, with end-to-end encryption.

Amid competition, Verizon loses key customers for first time
Verizon has had quarterly losses in post-paid phone customers before, but not when other wireless connections are included. AT&T's unlimited plan costs about the same as Verizon's; a cheaper unlimited option has fewer features.

As the name suggests, the objective of the app is to allow users to easily create to-do lists, reminders, and keep a track of your tasksIt'sts essentially Microsft's move to replace Wunderlist, as the company plans to kill the app and roll out its own version of Wunderlist with added features such as Office365 integration, Outlook Calender sync, and more. The app is integrated with Office 365, and uses "an intelligent algorithm" to assist in users' task management, offering "helpful suggestions" to help prioritize what's most important. Today, the Redmond giant launched Microsoft To-Do on Office 365.

To-Do was developed by the same team that created Wunderlist. As many users realized, some platforms do not yet support To-Do, including Mac, iPad and Android tablet. It's lacking a few features still, like list sharing and collaboration, but that's all on the way.

Microsoft's Alex Simons announced the app update via an official blog post. Head over to the Microsoft Authenticator forum to voice your opinion, or if you need help with phone sign-in.
