Warriors, Cavaliers most-watched National Basketball Association teams this season

LeBron James will be aiming to reach a seventh straight NBA Finals

LeBron James will be aiming to reach a seventh straight NBA Finals

Though this first round of the NBA Playoffs doesn't have a lot of buzz in each series, there is still some quality basketball to be played.

James understands the Cavaliers appear vulnerable, perhaps beatable as they enter the National Basketball Association playoffs following a recent tailspin. Cleveland beat Toronto 4-2 in that series and will likely have to defeat the Raptors and top-seeded Boston Celtics (53-29) to get back to the NBA Finals for the third year in a row. I can see it just not being enough in the playoffs and the Rockets winning a fairly quick series, but since I'm indulging on this series I want it to go the full distance. Fourteen teams will have to sit at home and get ready for the ping pong balls to do their thing.

Easily the most intriguing potential for some movement lies in the last two seeds in the East.

When the Golden State Warriors went ahead 3-1 in the NBA Finals last season, my editor at a local sports site I write for asked if anyone wanted credentials to the parade when they clinched the championship.

The Bulls meanwhile snuck into the Playoffs on the final day of the regular season.

Enjoy the NBA Playoffs everyone. No. 7 Memphis GrizzliesNo. Though numerous series were competitive going six or seven games, Los Angeles came out on top in 13 of the 15.

Finally, the Hawks are resting Paul Millsap, Dwight Howard, Kent Bazemore, Dennis Schroder and Tim Hardaway Jr in IN, giving the Pacers a huge advantage in a game they likely need to win.

He's been used sparingly by the Los Angeles Clippers this season, getting into just 25 games. You got one of the top five players and added it to an All-Star backcourt, that broke the record for regular season wins, nearly came back and did it again this year and might have won a championship [last year] if Curry wasn't nicked up and if Draymond Green didn't get suspended for that game, they might've had back to back championships.

Out east, Boston tried to shake off a grueling first round but the Washington Wizards came in and shot lights out in their series against the #1 seed. The Celtics made the climb to the Eastern Conference's top seed which was impressive. If I had to choose one of them to play on my team for their entire career I'd take Iguodala over Johnson.

If you're looking for a First Round series to follow, Bing predicts seed #5 Atlanta to upset #4 Washington and win 4-2; Atlanta will not carry the momentum to the Eastern Semifinals though, and lose to Boston in 7 games. And each of them are heavy favorites to make it to the NBA Finals again.

Is Bannon in peril? Trump comments worry his populist base
Until its quick interruption, White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon's rise was turning into a kind of legend. He said his warring senior officials, including Bannon, must " straighten it out or I will ".

Once the Warriors' work is done in the West, they should be home free in the Finals.

The San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets also presumably lie in wait for Golden State.

It's time for the rubber match.

Ominously for their rivals, there are signs that the Warriors are building irresistible momentum at the right time. He missed 21 games in the regular season, but he was incredibly important to the team's success when healthy.

And so, we had a date with destiny... Those games don't matter because when the playoffs come around the game slows down and there is less running and gunning. SEVEN straight games of physicality.

As if anyone needed reminding which team enters the play-offs as the NBA's most convincing favourite, the Golden State Warriors offered fresh perspective.

"It's a new year and we've moved on to Milwaukee", he said.

It's time for the Cavaliers to get up.

Are you switching? Are you double-teaming? The mobile companion app also features facial scanning technology which imports your likeness directly to the game. I noted during the summer of 2015 that Johnson was headed for the 20,000-point mark that has nearly always historically resulted in Hall of Fame induction (with one exception).
