The photo comes just days after news first broke that the pop star and the baby's father, Jackson's husband and ex Wissam Al Mana, have split up.

Janet Jackson shared an adorable photo with her infant son Eissa on Friday (April 14), the first picture she has released publicly.

Janet wrote alongside the picture: "My baby and me after nap time".

The sweet snap, posted on JanetJackson.com, features Eissa yawning while he cuddles up to his mother.

Jackson has been discreet about her relationship with Al Mana, whose company sells luxury fashion brands across Gulf Arab kingdoms and who is estimated to be worth $1 billion. She feels like this is one of the best things to ever happen to her, she says.

"To the most attractive person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend".

"They come from very different worlds", the insider told the publication.

Earlier this week, many were shocked by the announcement made by a close source to Jackson, 50, that her 5-year marriage to 42-year-old Qatari billionaire was over.

"They're both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they're apart".

Janet's followers were ecstatic that the singer showed off Eissa for the first time and gushed about how cute he is. In those past three months since giving birth, Jackson has remained secluded in her home in London, according to Mirror.
