Wisconsin churches on alert amid hunt for gun theft suspect

"Basically he's angry at all government officials", Rock County Sheriff Robert Spoden said at the press conference on Friday. Officials from Janesville police, the Rock County Sheriff's Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and ATF are among those searching for Jakubowski.

A nationwide manhunt is underway in the USA for an "armed and highly dangerous" suspect who robbed 16 high-end guns and may be plotting an act of mass violence targeting government officials.

A manhunt is underway in Wisconsin for a suspect who allegedly robbed a gun store and sent a 160-page anti-government manifesto to President Donald Trump.

In his statement, Oleson said the sheriff's office is working with police departments in Mauston, Elroy and New Lisbon to "actively investigate this tip for verification".

The only church to close was Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, about 48 miles north of Janesville.

While it is apparent that so many in the community are helping law enforcement keep watch for this subject, we continue to need additional tips and leads to help locate Jakubowski.

The Clinton-led State Department was among nine US government agencies that had to approve the purchase of Uranium One. Schiff caught the White House red-handed in their cover-up.

A video of Jakubowski that he had posted on Facebook was released by police. About 30 minutes later, police found Jakubowski's auto on fire nearby - showing evidence of arson, Cmdr. Local law enforcement, supplemented by tactical teams, contacted a resident who lived near there.

Authorities in Wisconsin have amped up security in local schools as the manhunt for 32-year-old fugitive Joseph Jakubowski continues.

An alert was issued Monday for Wisconsin schools, citing a threat in the letter by Jakubowski to "unleash the stolen weapons" inside the buildings.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to his arrest. Video of Jakubowski mailing the manifesto can be seen here.

Police said he was known to officers and had previously been imprisoned for trying to disarm a police officer. A burned vehicle registered under his name was found nearby. The public is reminded not to approach Jakubowski but to immediately call 911 if he is sighted.

A multi-agency operation involving Wisconsin police, the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Secret Service is now underway to apprehend Jakubowski.
