New York breast implant rule halts UFC's Gonzalez

Calvillo is apparently not happy about the decision, but I'm sure Gonzalez is the one who is less happy, as she's the one with the boobs.

UFC 210 will be headlined be a light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Anthony Johnson.

Calvillo continuing to throw the far greater volume of strikes, but Gonzalez has a tight guard to block a lot of this offense. She had already acquired a license to fight in the state, passed all pre-fight medical physicals, and even weighed-in for the bout.

The rule states, "Due to the concern over rupture, boxers who have breast implants are not eligible to box in ny".

Before Friday, Gonzalez wasn't aware of the rule. "I've never heard of such a thing". I've never lied about it, which is when they asked me if I've had a surgery, I told them. I was surprised. Nothing I can do about it now.

Spanish ship off Gibraltar: 'Incursion' or 'routine?'
Illegal incursion into #British #Gibraltar Territorial Waters by Spanish Navy patrol ship Infanta Cristina this afternoon.

Neither Gonzalez, the UFC or the NYSAC have issued a comment on the matter.

"They just said breast implants were not allowed in this state", Gonzalez told MMAFighting.com.

That said, there were a few fighters who managed to make a splash amid the controversy and chaos in Buffalo. However, after meeting with all sides, the fight was put back on the pay-per-view main card.

The original directive reportedly came just after weigh-ins.

Gonzalez attended the ceremonial weigh-ins at the KeyBank Center. Calvillo was controlling the action in the first round, throwing significantly more punches, however very few actually landed and did damage to Gonzalez. After another scramble, Calvillo is able to get back control again, with Gonzalez this time on her knees, but the bell goes before she can attempt another submission.
