Reliable Spanish journalist offers hope to Liverpool’s pursuit of £63million La Liga star

Atletico is enjoying its best moment of the season. It's not much, but I can't say how long he'll be out.

First up is the derby encounter with Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday and Zidane insists he can not think about next season before negotiating this pivotal period.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has insisted that he is fully focused on beating city rivals Atletico Madrid and steering the team to success in La Liga and the Champions League.

Sevilla have not won in their last four league games and may have to start looking over their shoulder in order to ensure they remain at least in fourth place. Zidane, however, was coy on the topic, stating that one has to wait till the matchday to see who makes the squad.

That narrows down the betting options to either backing Real Madrid to win and both teams to score (13/5), the case in 14 of their 22 triumphs, or Atletico to win to nil (8/1), which has occurred in 13 of their 18 victories.

"I love working with him because we have a very good relationship, we think the same way about the style of play, and he also gives me the feeling of being important".

That run has included winning last year's Champions League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup earlier this season. Both the midfielders are fine players but the time for them to regularly churn out performances is here and their displays will be key.

Hundreds march through Amsterdam in solidarity with beaten gay couple
The Dutchmen took to the streets around the world holding hands this week in a very public show of support for the LGBT rights. Pechtold tweeted a picture of himself and Koolmes holding hands with the caption, "Stop violence against gays".

The Frenchman made nine changes to his side from the 3-0 win over Alaves on Sunday, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema all rested, but the LaLiga leaders maintained their two-point advantage over Barcelona with a 4-2 win.

They have a few injury concerns, with Kevin Gameiro, Nicolas Gaitan and Sime Vrsaljko all racing against time to get fit for Saturday's clash at the Bernabeu.

"In the big games, Cristiano always shows up", he said.

Offering Theo a clearer path to starting regularly at a big club might not mean a lot of the player believes it would only take half a season to win the starting place at an even bigger one.

The Spanish forward got on the scoresheet again five minutes later when he picked put the bottom-right corner of the goal from inside the area after being played in by Mateo Kovacic.

But then if Atletico have Griezmann, Real look even more risky with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to find the back of the net. "We have everything a player could want".
