Sprint goes all in on its unlimited data plan

Why Could Verizon AT&T T-Mobile and Sprint See Higher Churns

Why Could Verizon AT&T T-Mobile and Sprint See Higher Churns

Crediting Wave7 Research for the information, the WSJ says the USA firm may end the promotion within the next few days.

If you consider the fact that HBO NOW goes for $15 a month, you're really only paying a bit over $30 for a premier data plan. "This new plan continues to offer the best price for unlimited among all national carriers".

While the promotional pricing is significantly lower than Sprint's competitors, the post-promotion pricing is roughly equal to that of T-Mobile's One plan. It focused on offering a 50% discount off the plans offered by the other carriers. Sprint's strategy was to lure customers in and then upsell them to a more expensive service later, but with so many customers already being on unlimited plans, there was nothing to upsell. Instead, Sprint is left with customers on years-long unlimited plans for far too cheap, which contributes to Sprint's ongoing lack of profits. Many believe that the 50% off promotion persuaded people to switch to Sprint's network but was not competitive enough to become a viable option.

Nearly 200000 Apple Apps Could Become Obsolete With New Software
Tech detectives have dug into the code of a small update called iOS 10.3.2, which follows yesterday's release of iOS 10.3. Your newly updated iPhone or iPad will now wake up to the iOS welcome screen and ask for some basic setup and settings .

The new offer rolls out Thursday, April 6. According to details, starting Friday, Sprint customers will be able to get unlimited data, talk and text for $50 a month for their first line, two lines for $40 a month and four lines for $30 a month. "Within the first year, Verizon's and AT&T's unlimited plans will cost consumers at least 50% more!"

Sprint is getting rid of its metered plans entirely as it moves to a single unlimited plan. Even after offering exciting plans like these, the company is facing tough competition from the likes of AT&T, which recently declared plans to provide HBO free to customers who subscribe to its $90 per month Unlimited Plus data plan.
