Madilyn Wallin is white, 2 feet tall, 15 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to a post on the Mountain View Police Department's Facebook page, the missing child's name is Madilyn. An Amber Alert for the abducted baby was issued around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Michael Wallin had been in an argument with the girl's mother when he fled with the girl in a blue Nissan Altima with dealership plates, the Mountain View Police Department posted on Twitter. Wallin then drove off again, with Madilyn sitting in his lap in the driver's seat. He was last seen wearing a white Golden State Warriors T-shirt and has full-body tattoos, including the tops of his hands. At some point, Wallin "brake-checked" the adult son, causing him to collide with Wallin's vehicle. The vehicle did not contain a child safety seat, so Madilyn may be on Wallin's lap.
