Singer Luke Bryan, jokingly, gets political about ACM Awards

Country music's most prestigious awards show is nearly upon us, and die-hard fans are gearing up for the event of the year.

Co-hosted by Bryan and fellow country singer Dierks Bentley, the ACM Awards start at 8 p.m.

Bryan says in an interview he believes "Democrats and Republicans are going to get along on Sunday night". It's going to change. He has jokingly predicted that watching the awards show would unite the nation so strongly that even cats and dogs "are going to make out".

This Sunday, some of country's biggest names, including Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and Carrie Underwood, are hitting Las Vegas for the ACM Awards!

The Academy of Country Music Awards are tonight, April 2, and HollywoodLife.com is making sure you're hooked up with an easy way to watch.

While this will be Bryan's fifth time hosting the show, that doesn't mean he's perfected his craft, at least according to Bentley. Morris is also listed for a separate solo performance.

The collaborations may be the show's biggest draws.

Who's Presenting?: ET's own Nancy O'Dell is among the roster of presenters, which also includes Lauren Alaina, Bobby Bones, Kane Brown, Savannah Chrisley, Todd Chrisley, Kacey Musgraves, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler, Darius Rucker, Elliott Sadler, Miss America Savvy Shields and Bubba Wallace.

This year's ACM Award nominees for Album of the Year include Black by Bentley, Dig Your Roots by Florida Georgia Line, HERO by Morris, Ripcord by Urban and The Weight of These Wings by Lambert. If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
