Pokemon GO is in a constant state of improvement with new features being added to the roster as well as new creatures to appease users around the globe.
While past its heyday last summer, when some small businesses and landmarks had complained of disruptive crowds, the game has seen renewed interest after last month's addition of 80 Pokemon and in-game events set around holidays like Halloween and soon, Easter. Developers Niantic has confirmed that these features will be arriving at some point in the near future, it was also unveiled that the legendary Pokemon will start to release into the wild before the end of this year according to the company's CEO John Hanke.

However, news of that sought failed to surface, meaning will just have to wait and see what comes next after the Pokemon Go Plus. Making them fit into the game's overall lore is another.
How you incorporate those elements in a game that spans the whole real-world planet with thousands of players is definitely going to be a game design challenge.
There is now no word on how far Niantic may have gotten in bringing these new devices to the market, it was rumoured at the start of the year that the tech company was close to making an announcement on the subject.
