Witnesses told the Sun Herald that the tour bus appeared to have become stuck on the train tracks for several minutes before the deadly crash.

At least three people were killed after a train crashed into a charter bus in MS, according to police.

Emergency responders said the bus from Austin, Texas, was carrying about 50 passengers. The crash occurred in the early afternoon at about 2:30 p.m. local time, the Sun Herald reported.

Officials said there were three confirmed fatalities resulting from the crash.
