The second qualifying final of Pakistan Super League 2017 is going to be played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.
Islamabad United won the toss and elected to field first.
After Islamabad United captain Misbah-ul-Haq sent them into bat, Babar Azam and Chris Gayle provided a good start of 42 but as soon both made exit at the same score Karachi Kings could not be recovered and their batsmen were getting out at regular intervals. However, his efforts were overshadowed by three-wicket hauls from Mohammad Amir (3-7), Imad Wasim (3-18) and Usama Mir (3-24) as Kings skittled United for 82 to set up a clash against Peshawar Zalmi in the third qualifying final. He returned to take Nicholas Pooran's wicket.
Millions of eyes will be on this match as none other the stormy Caribbean batsman Chris Gayle will open the batting innings for Karachi Kings. Both teams 8 points from the 8 matches they had played but Kings were ahead of the United for net run rate. The wicket was a bit on the lower side and I think we were 20 to 25 runs short.
Luis Enrique: Barcelona boss to step down at end of season
Spirits appear to be high in the Barcelona camp despite speculation growing over the long-term future of manager Luis Enrique . Enrique had spent 8 years of his playing career at Barcelona following a free transfer from arch-rivals Real Madrid in 1996.
Interestingly, the last match of group stage was between United and Kings, which the later won by 6 wickets to qualify for the play-offs. He went on to get Bopara, Pollard and Wasim caught out and took Usama Mir's catch off Muhammad Sami.
Comment who will win today and who will win PSL 2017 finals.
Its De-ja Vu once again, as Kings faced Misbahs men in last years PSL playoff, where the United emerged victorious, and became the eventual winners of the tournament.
